After one year and nine months of real trading, the capital grew from 50,000 yuan to 100 million yuan, achieving a 2000-fold return. During the same period, Bitcoin also rose from 30,000 dollars to 120,000 dollars, continuously setting new highs.
Looking back on this journey, it has been relatively smooth overall. Thanks to strict position management and risk control, there was only one major drawdown during this time. After the capital broke through 10 million yuan, I mainly achieved excess returns through swing trading of cryptocurrencies such as BTC, ETH, and SOL, combined with high leverage, most of which was generated this year.
The cryptocurrency market is never short of geniuses; every round of market conditions gives rise to new "myths," and the times create heroes. However, in this market, what is more important than getting rich quickly is how to survive in the long term. You must ensure that you remain in the market until you achieve your goals. As more institutions enter, the difficulty of operations will increase, so I advise everyone to cherish this round of market conditions before interest rate cuts, achieve your goals early, and exit calmly.
There is a lot to share, and I will gradually unfold it in the future. Briefly discussing why I can control small losses during downtrends and achieve large profits during uptrends:
Do not average down on floating losses, increase positions on floating profits#
When there are floating losses, never average down to reduce the average cost; you can choose to hold (provided you have full confidence in the future market), but you must not average down. On the contrary, when there are floating profits, only then should you increase your position and set a breakeven stop-loss to lock in a safety cushion.
Stay clear-headed during uptrends, know when to rest during downtrends#
Everyone will encounter market conditions that suit them, but do not view temporary success as permanent. Overconfidence often leads to significant drawdowns—my several major drawdowns or liquidations stemmed from this. When the market trend deviates from expectations, you should know when to take a proper break and adjust your state.
Filter out external noise, establish your own trading system#
Most people's problem is that despite reading a lot of analysis, they dare not open positions or cannot hold onto them, which stems from a lack of confidence. You need to form your own trading logic, summarize and absorb the strengths of excellent traders through practical experience to optimize your take-profit and stop-loss strategies, rather than relying on external noise.
Achieving a real trading profit breakthrough of 100 million yuan has always been a small goal of mine, and today it has finally been achieved.
